Former Synagogue Obernbreit
A Place Of Remembrance And Encounter
Since the beginning of 2013, the partially restored former synagogue in Obernbreit has been open to the public again. The Träger- und Förderverein ehemalige Synagoge Obernbreit e.V. (association for the sponsorship of the former synagogue in Obernbreit) have set themselves the goal of preserving the building and using it as a venue for events and meetings. Concerts, exhibitions and lectures are held regularly, dealing with Jewish culture and history, but also aiming to contribute to cultural diversity and tolerance in general.
